The following is an advertisement via Google AdSense found on YouTube, which is terrible for two distinct reasons:
I wonder if anyone’s ever fallen for this?
If they have, they thoroughly deserve whatever they got.
Also, I’m pretty sure Google would have had to check this ad out for authenticity before allowing it to be pasted all over everyone’s websites. Why do obvious scams like this appear anywhere? Someone clearly isn’t doing their job properly.
If you haven’t been on Google yet today (if that’s even possible for someone on their computer), then you won’t have had the pleasure of playing their little interactive logo. In honour of the Olympics, they’ve been changing their logo daily to relate to Olympic events, and today they’ve made a little hurdle game to brighten your day. Go give it a try right here. My current best is 13.1 seconds, which isn’t great, but still. Try and beat it.
This is why Google is the best of all the search engines. They like to have fun like this. Every now and then, on major events, they will change their logo into something interesting, and sometimes it’s a little game or puzzle, like this one. If you haven’t noticed this (it’s a pretty rare occurence), you should try accessing Google on as close to a daily basis as you can manage. It’s not much, but they can brighten your morning a little, which we all need sometimes.
Why are you still here? Go play it.
