I’ve updated the graphics on my game:
I am probably the worst graphics designer alive.
On a side note, I programmed those clouds myself. Yes, programmed. They spawn at random places in the top half of the screen, pick a random cloud shape, move in a random direction at a random speed then loop around the screen when they travel outside it. But here’s the best part – once they loop around the screen, they pick a different cloud shape and change speed randomly, so it’s different each time. Oh yes.
And it only took me 3 hours to do that. Oh yes.
I really did forget everything about game design, that would’ve took me a maximum of 10 minutes 2 years ago. Wow. I suck.
I’ve come up with the general idea of making it a game where you have to reach space. There would be quests of sorts, then you’d use the money you get from quests to upgrade your bird in various ways to fly higher and higher, until you reach the moon. I think I could do that, it doesn’t sound too hard.
Although going by my progress, don’t expect to be playing Space Bird (oh YES INDEED) until about 2014. You’ll be on the edge of your seats, I’m sure.
